Many thanks again to our volunteers for helping to remove invasives at our beautiful Wright Hill Conservation Area. We were lucky to have the best weather of the week for working. And work we did, judging by the piles of plants and root material which collected on the tarp! The beds we prepared on either side of the stone wall will be covered with black plastic sheeting. Our hope is that after a year, the invasive plant material will have died off and we will be able to plant ground cover or native species there.
Check out the ACT Instagram feed for pictures. The day was beautiful, and our volunteers helped make it fun as well!
